Process

Original Image

This is the original image of the MediSit. It’s on a white background to make Photoshop easier to mask.

Version 1

This version sketch out the hierarchy, color, and position of all the available assets.

I used the overlay effect to change the background color in Adobe Photoshop.

Red

Blue

Back Cover

I was playing around with the hierarchy. My Client provided me with the text since this is his project.

Version 2

I made no changes to the front cover. The reason I choose red and blue as the background.

Red - Oftentimes, red resembles health.

Blue - Resembles calming.

Back Cover

I remove the border from the previous version. It was because I can have more room for the images and the text.

I also add some wavy shapes for the background.

Version 3

This version’s only change on the front cover is the logo.

Back Cover

I move the middle text more in line with the header text.

I also added a blue border on the portrait. It should give a picture frame-esque-like style but be more simplified.

Version 4

Front Cover

My client wants me to add a gradient background to make the logo easier to read.

I also move the subtitle between the title and the product.

Back Cover

I replaced the two images at the right with the proper images. I told my client that MediSit would stand out more if we have images of people using the product.

I also change the border color from blue to red.

Version 5

Front Cover

My client changes some text just the subtitle.

Back Side

My client change the text on the “History”, “Why bring it to market?”, and his biography. To make it less clutter yet more understanding.

Version 6

Front Side

There are no changes in this version

Back Side

I extended the text bar to fit “more” where it did not make an extra line for the sentence.

Conclusion

In conclusion, this project is about the promotion of a product. We work together and we make this a final project. The client is happy with how the results turned out and is willing to work with me again in the future.

For me, I had fun working with a graphic work like this.
